The standard packaging for cow's milk must contain at least 3.2% fat and 3.0% protein. Skim milk must contain a maximum of 0.15% of fat and a minimum of 3.0% protein.
Cream is categorised to its milk fat content which is in two forms of pure or treated. Both must contain greater than 35% of milk fat.
